Homestaging Resources, a US-based company, recently released the results of its 2018 worldwide review of the impact of home staging on property sales. It found that of the 4270 professionals surveyed, 85% of the 4200 staged homes sold for 6-25% more than their unstaged counterparts. At the same time, 68% of the staged homes sold for at least 9%, more that their "unstaged" neighbours. Of special interest, is the fact that amongst the properties and agents surveyed, there was a direct correlation between the stagers that charged "a bit more" and the homes that achieved the best price results.
